   I always liked the original location in grosse pointe. Have not been to Royal since it first opened. Still great!

   Our server Danielle was wonderful, making great recommendations. The food was very good and reasonably priced. My husband had oysters and salmon and loved it. My poke bowl was good- a little light on the tuna. Drinks were great and the ambiance is fun. Slip next door to Ale Mary’s for a drink too- the Christmas decor is insane!

   First visit and overall we enjoyed our experience. Food was good but a bit pricey given the locale. Decent drinks and good service.

   Service was top notch !!! Food was sub standard Order claim soup that was watery & jambalaya that had 4 shrimp and three slivers of sausage worst I’ve ever had !!!

   The Spanish coffee was🔥 sooooo good. We got the lobster sushi roll and oyster Rockefeller for our apps and dinner was the Cajun pasta, filet minion medallions with mashed potatoes (actually seasoned!) and I added a lobster tail poached in butter. Everything from the service to food was top tier. Will be back!

   We had an amazing experience. We never felt rushed through appetizers to desert. Kim was a phenomenal waitress and helped us select the best dinners. We will come back to this excellent restaurant

   The Calamari was delicious, the drinks were fun and tasty, and the meal was nice. I was disappointed that the special I wanted was not available, but I guess others wanted it also :).
