Lovely dinner! The bean soup is a great starter-the cup is large so stick with that size. M The caprese salad is classic and delicious. The mushroom ravioli cream sauce was luxurious and the osso bucco was incredible. The only dish we didn’t love but still liked was the fish and shrimp ravioli in the tomato sauce. We finished our amazing meal with the pannacotta which was light with a hint of citrus. Great service and atmosphere!

We love dining at Trattoria la Vigna for our anniversary, Mardi Gras, and New Year’s Eve every year. We are always greeted with a friendly welcome. I love that the owner is always there, in the kitchen, working hard on preparing all the delicious meals. This past visit, she came out into the restaurant & greeted people at their tables thanking us for coming & asking how our experience has been. Taking the time to meet the patrons & genuinely ask how our service/food was meant a lot. We love love love Trattoria la Vigna!

Service was good. Crab ravioli was excellent. The Osa Bucco was good but not great. Small portion of meat. Not crazy about the risotto. Chicken dish was very good.

We had a great dinner at Trattoria la Vigna. It was a great classic Italian restaurant in Galveston downtown. I had the spinach ravioli with mushrooms cream sauce and my husband had the veal with pasta. The ravioli was outstanding and compared well so some we had in Italy. We shared their octopus salad and had the chocolate cheesecake for dessert.

Food was good as usual. Service was a bit off. Our server didn’t go over specials with us and didn’t check in at the usual times as he also had a table with a large group he was trying to cover. Management could have done assignments differently with a better outcome.
