We are a family style Italian Restaurant known for our tasty food, friendly service, lively atmosphere. The restaurant exterior is representative of traditional Italy while our interior greets guests with an antique chest on which to sit on to observe Chef Michele at work.
"Start with the finest and freshest natural ingredients then cook with love, knowledge, and devotion. Serve everyone as if they were the most honored guests ever to come into your home and then you have the recipe for fine food.

Food was a good as always. The dining room was packed and there were many takeout orders which affected timing but one cannot complain when this seemed to be a glitch hopefully not to be continued. We have usually had good service. If you have never been here, do give it a try!

Trattoria Mediterranea is the place to go for authentic Italian food. This family owned get has an outstanding menu, and Michele or Mimo will do anything to accommodate special requests. The vibe is warm and friendly and you can feel the pride the family and team have for the house. If your mom/grandmother is/was Italian this is your place…anything on the menu is excellent form the Capaccio to the Sunday sauce. The percitelli and rigatoni are home made, as well as the lasagna and the seafood dishes are all delicious!

Never Disappointed! Its been a couple of months since our last visit. Always a good crowd on a Saturday night. Made an early, 5:30, reservation. The pork chop calabrese is outstanding.

Veal Milanese was so pounded and deep fried. Could not SEE or TASTE veal. Everyone else was happy and they credited me. But do not order it if you want to taste veal I did not give this 5 stars. Maybe 2-3
