   Had the lunch menu, 3 courses £14.95 with 3rd course being ice cream or coffee/tea. The food was all freshly cooked and served by friendly pleasant staff. Service was quick and timing would work for work lunch. We had chicken satay, king prawn rolls, beef in tamarin sauce and red chicken curry with boiled rice. All food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely return when in Manchester again.

   First visit but will not be the last. Food and service excellent. Great value. All 4 of us had the 3 course lunch special and all excellent

   Excellent meal as always. Delicious authentic food from extensive menu. Great portions and served nice and hot. Friendly helpful service from the great staff.

   The food at Try Thai has changed the beef in red wine and brandy sauce was more like a sweet and sour.The chicken satay had changed but was quite good. The beef with chillies and holy basil tasted different. The beef has for the last 10 years+ been flame cooked / and or charcoal cooked and has a different flavour which is a shame. Is it a change of chef or to keep prices lower and within budget. I may return but not within the next month.

   Excellent place - must go to if you’re in manchester. Service was great and quick, food was exceptional and cocktails were super tasty. Prices were great too, will definitely be coming back here.

    This was my favourite restaurant in Manchester until this evening. Super disappointed, the menu had changed, granted it’s been a while and that’s to be expected but it was frustrating trying to explain something I wanted and being told to have a pad Thai, when it’s nothing like what I was explaining I used to always have, then bluntly being told it’s changed. Service was bad was seated for 20 mins before anyone took a drink order, then had to wait 50 mins for food and only came out after asking if food would be long, to be given cold dishes and asking for them to be heated. Really disappointed as it used to be such a great place with great service and food. Being served cold food after 50 mins waiting for it, is bad.
