   Service was ok, could have been more inviting and address us at the door. Food was nice, there was a singer who was really good so gave a nice atmosphere. The food was quick and the staff were friendly. Over all was a nice place to go and I would visit again.

   Lovely roast beef lunch. Cuts of meat were to die for and one of the biggest, Yorkshire puds ive seen. Service was great and a young lady was singing songs that i could sing along too. My mum and i thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

   I went with my family for my birthday on Sunday, we were extremely lucky to be able to park outside (if driving do allow extra time for parking, paid by app or can use machine). We were welcomed by a lady member of staff & taken to our table that we had booked. Drinks & food orders taken by a nice friendly young chap called James, we ordered 2 beef, 1 lamb roast dinners & fish and chips. Wow, we needed bigger plates, the food was very well portioned & the hugest Yorkshire puddings I have ever seen. The food tasted extremely lovely, the meat was very tender of both the beef & lamb. All the meals were extremely filling, having said that I still had dessert, a very yummy brownie with honeycomb & ice-cream. The tables are set nicely & the whole place has a nice, lovely & welcoming feel to it. This was our first visit here, pricing was really good for what we had & more, we would definitely return.

   Absolutely delicious lovely Sunday roast the best iv eaten , the staff were so nice and professional, the singer was amazing (i thought it was a CD ) the food was lovely and portions were huge definitely going again and iv sent all my friends and family pics of the Roast and they are booking they were so jealous !

   Excellent service from all the staff what a pleasure to be served by staff who really know their job, friendly and efficient. The tea was very tasty especially the warm scones. I would highly recommend it and will return.

   Booked a table for Valentines day with my partner... although i made the booking 2 weeks prior and turned up early, they had given our table to someone else. This was ok though as they eventually sitted us elsewhere, setting the tone for the night. We had a couple of their signiture cocktails at £6 each, they came in pint glasses and you couldn't taste any alcohol. Starters were tasty @ £8 each, but hardly any calamari and looked like they had cut them in half they were so skinny - halloumi bites were spot on. For the main we went for the 'surf & turf' for 2 @ £53.... a massive wooden platter came out but the food was so little that you could hardly see it past the bowls of chips (which were meant to be triple cooked, but were just clearly normal mcCain chips cooked once). You got 4 regular scallops, 4 king prawns, 4 or 5 onion rings and a bit of 'steak' which looked like a carved beef joint and came out rare, we were not even asked how we wanted it cooked either. We had sticky toffee pudding for Dessert whihc was very good. All tasty but shocking value for money and if you do go dont opt for the platter or calamari.

   Love the place, and it’s only our 2nd visit! Staff are super friendly and the food has been fabulous on both occasions. The menu is quite small - but that just means they do everything perfectly and you don’t have to wait and age for it! Definitely will be back soon (probably for their Amazing Sunday Lunch)
