Originally an operating grain mill, Tuscarora Mill has maintained the rustic interior & charm of the mill. Chef Julian Gonzales’s seasonal menus use the freshest of local produce. Lovely St Valentines dinner, food was tasty, well prepared and presented. Tuscarora Mill is rustic rustic and comfortable. I could tell the service was a little stretched because we did not get excellent attention but the servers were working hard and doing their best. I would certainly come back and recommend the restaurant to others.

Food was excellent. Three course pricing for Valentine’s Day was unexpected and was a very good value. Difficult to get a reservation even though there were lots of tables open when we arrived. When we arrived we were taken to the log cabin section, requiring a walk outside in the cold. While we didn’t mind, calling that out for those who might or have mobility issues. I do wish we would’ve had the option to choose the cabin or the main dining area, but we weren’t at booking. The little bathroom in the cabin is convenient but definitely needs a remodel. I’m being picky with those details and they were easily overlooked with the excellent, local, quality food and great service by Tony H.

I love the ambiance of Tuskie’s, but my meals are always hit or miss here. The price point does not match the quality and quantity of the food. Our server was wonderful and offered a discount on my fried oysters which were not fried but raw. The goat cheese dip was average. The wedge salad was good. I just don’t think I will be back.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday at Tuscarora Mills. The weight staff was fantastic. The food was excellent. We went there in a very cold time of year and we had to keep our jackets on to stay warm, but that’s only complaint.

A lovely, upscale-casual venue with a generous variety of offerings, and an extensive wine list. The food was presented nicely and was delicious. Our server was attentive, but not intrusive and was very knowledgeable. The addition of one or two vegan main courses would be welcome.
