Bringing its hallmark level of quality and service to an urban location, Uchi Houston made its debut in 2012 in the former historic Felix space on Westheimer. Melding culinary innovation with an approachable vibe, the menu features items culled from both Uchi and Uchiko in Austin, along with signature seasonal items created by our Chef team.     Uchi is our special occasion dinner or date night. We love the variety of options (plenty of vegetarian options) and service is always top notch. I like to come during happy hour so that I can order from both happy hour and dinner menu. Linda is my favorite server! She makes really great recommendations and we always have the best dining experience with Linda. Will see you again soon!

    We had a wonderful first experience at uchi. My only complaint is that I was told to put the crab sushi in my mouth and not to wait because it was a warm roll. Well, I did as told and scorched the entire top of my mouth. The skin has already been shed but now it is healing and it’s hard to talk and drink anything too cold. Maybe next time they should say this roll is extremely hot please wait instead of eat this roll before it cools off it is supposed to be warm. That is my only complaint and to me it’s a big one

    Consistently incredible food and service. I’ve dined at multiple Uchis and it’s always a reliably exceptional experience. Very grateful to Mikayla and Virginia for creating an experience that was just what I needed at the end of a really long week.
