   Outstanding Fine Dining Vegan Experience! We had the tasting menu and it was fantastic. Every course was good and a couple were superb. The thinly sliced oyster mushrooms with ponzu sauce and the Indonesian soup were our favorites, though it was hard to choose. The only complaint is that we were too full to eat the fabulous deserts. Highest recommendation!

   Oh Yve! Dinner was just as good as Aaron Pierre…. that’s Mufasa!! Thank you! Dining at Uchi Houston was an unforgettable experience, thanks to our amazing server, Yve! Her warm and attentive service elevated our evening, making every moment special. The food was a feast for both the eyes and the palate – the spicy edamame was the perfect start, the Biendo roll was bursting with flavor, and the Uchi salad was a refreshing, colorful masterpiece. Every bite was a celebration of taste and presentation. Yve’s expertise and kindness made our fantastic dinner truly shine. Can’t wait to come back! Oh and bring the key lime dessert back please!!!!!    Always have such a great time here! Anthony our server was outstanding and the food was excellent. However, I am extremely disappointed about they removed foie gras from the menu and empowered those PETA lunatics. Might go somewhere else for my fix next time….

   Everything was absolutely fantastic. The chef selection of nigiri was perfect! I loved the mushroom rice it had so much flavor and depth to it. The hot stone wagyu was perfect. The edamame was a great appetizer as well. I will definitely be coming back

   The quality of the food was average, with tiny portions. I spent $100 per person without alcohol, and I was still hungry at the end of the meal. It’s too pricey for what it is."

    This is hands down the best sushi in Houston. I’m a regular hereThe gyutoro is heavenly…it literally melts in your mouth. The service is always impeccable. Even with inflation the quality of the food has not been compromised. They no longer bring the warm towel for your hands but it just doesn’t matter; the food is too good to care about that. Also, I’m not telling you who the best waiter is because he’s mine! Food to try: 72-hr short rib gyutoro nigiri (get a lot of them!) Anything with gyutoro wagyu Zero Sen roll Gyutoro nabe (crispy rice hot bowl with mushrooms and a sauce that will make you lose your etiquette!) Vegetarians try: Veggie nabe (w/w/o the egg) hot crispy rice bowl Veggie mushi Pitchfork roll Uchi salad Book choy (Amazing!)
