Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

    I found this restaurant thru a friend and it did not disappoint. My flight was a little delayed so I was hanging on by a thread but determined to eat a good dinner. Valet was speedy and polite. My server was good too, but the star of the evening was definitely the seafood risotto. Super flavorful and loaded with seafood. I regret not trying the char grilled oysters as well as a dessert, but I'm certain I'll be back

    Mostly good experience with some minor flaws. Starter of Fried Okra not brought until full meal but waited a while and so should have had time to get it out earlier. Had Meatloaf and root vegetables dish and both were very good.

    We loved the atmosphere and unique vibe of Ulele, the food was amazing and tasteful and the service very quick. Our drinks were fresh and well crafted.

    Highly recommended. Interesting menu, food, service, ambience all top-notch. We had a table upstairs overlooking the open kitchen and it was awesome. Will definitely return next time we're in Tampa.
