    Our waiter was fabulous. The food was  horrible! The bar was so overcrowded you couldn’t even walk past them to get to your table! The hostess lost us in the crowd but continued to walk!

   We always love Vic and Angelo but did not know they had super loud live music on Thursday. All fine but way too noisy for us.

   We left after the restaurant after a short time. No food ordered, so I cannot rate the food. But I had to fill in the previous from! There was a singer performing life music which was very loud. A normal conversion was not possible. Even after mentioning this to the management nothing changed. I think they have more evenings with life music. Be sure before you book, you will end up in bar instead of a restaurant!

   We had planned to go there for brunch this past Sunday, January 5, 2025. Their website indicated that they had brunch. When we got there, they said they do not do brunch. They need to update their website to reflect accurate menus. Otherwise, the service was excellent, the food was very, very good. We will go back but not for brunch.

   While the location of this place is good, the food quality has gone downhill significantly. The pizza is better at the small takeout down the block and not good at all. The other dishes were subpar. We have been coming to this restaurant for the past 15 years and continued just because we "used" to enjoy the food. The waiter tried but we were very disappointed in the salads, pizzas, fish specials etc. We went to a small mom and pop Italian restaurant the next night and the comparison made us really second guess ever coming back here. Not sure what happened to them but don't seem to care about the food taste, preparation etc but they keep increasing the prices!

   I have been eating at Vic and Angelos for at least 12 years. The food was always good and the prices fair. But, tonight for the FIRST TIME the food was awful. The prices were high and the chicken was like cardboard, even hard t cut. The mushroom sauce tasted like it came from a can and they gave us very little mashed potatoes. The price for one dish was $38. I always ate the vegetarian pizza but was told they NO longer have it on the Menu. I was very disappointed in the entire experience, except for the wonderful people watching outside at a table facing Atlantic Avenue. I was told they are under new management, and it shows big time. We did not eat much of the chicken and told the waiter, but he just shrugged his shoulders. My friend ordered the Spaghetti with meat sauce and she did not like it at all. It was not good either. If they are under new management, they have a lot to do. I am very disappointed. And, for the price we could have gone anywhere else and had much better food.

    We always have a great time at Dick Angelo’s. We try to use the same waiter. He goes by the name of G great guy just a great atmosphere and great food.
