   Food was amazing ! Loved crawfish beignets!! Fried chicken and sauce and the sides were amazing too. Don’t waste calories on peach deserts! Not worth it .

   The building made the evening. The food for the price was not what it should have been. We asked for an old fashion, and it definitely needs to be worked on. They also did a double pour, which we did not ask for. The sangria was overly sweet. Dinner biscuits were very fresh, and the butter was perfect . Octopus appetizer was quite dry. They do add toppings, but it just masked the dryness. Pork dinner was delicious, and the pear salad was very tasty. The side order of mac and cheese was not very fresh. It was dry and not very favorable. Our server was nice but did not ask how our meal was. The table we were at was up against a wall and a little small to have more than a plate or two. Maybe it was just off that night, but for the price, it should be much better.

   Vic's on the River was a wonderful dining experience. The view of the river was an added bonus to the wonderful food. My daughter said that the crab cakes were the best that she ever had. I was a little bit concerned as a vegetarian that I wouldn't have much to eat, but our waitress was very helpful. I had the pear salad & a side of macaroni & cheese - both were delicious. Will definitely be back if we come in town again!

   It was our first time to Savannah and had 7:15 dinner reservations. It was pouring rain so we gave up on our walking tour and showed up an hour and a half early to Vic’s. They didn’t have a table available so we sat at the bar. They bar tender was friendly and made us special drinks. I had the fried chicken which was delicious!! The piano player added a fun touch to the overall experience.

    We’ve been dining at Vic’s every time we visit Savannah for the past five years. It’s always a wonderful restaurant to dine at! Last night however was the best evening we had by far! The hostess were friendly and quick to seat us. The food was timed perfectly and all our dishes were delicious. But the true gem of the evening was Ashely our server! She was extremely attentive and very pleasant. Her sunny disposition really made our experience at Vic’s that much more special than ever before! We will be back and will no doubt request Ashley serve us again!
