Vic’s is located in a beautiful old cotton warehouse overlooking the Savannah River and Historic River Street. With entrances on both Bay and River Streets, we are easy to access. Pets are welcomed on our outdoor patio, where guests can dine under centuries-old Live Oaks overlooking Historic Factors Walk. Along with our spectacular views, Vic’s menu reflects Savannah’s Southern charm with our sophisticated take on traditional Southern cuisine and our fresh, local seafood selections.     Matthew was our server and was so knowledgeable about the menu as well as explaining what dishes could be prepared gluten free (i have a preference to eat gluten free). We started with the spicy shrimp and it was AMAZING- but be prepared it is spicy. All the reviews told me to try the shrimp and grits and I am so glad that I did. It was rich but not too rich and the gravy like sauce over the shrimp made it even better. My boyfriend got the short rib and he cleaned his plate. My only complaint was that we were sat at a table right by the kitchen doors so we had people walking and opening/closing doors the entire time. Nothing big but made it less quiet. Definitely give this place a try if you’re in downtown Savannah!

    Food was amazing ! Loved crawfish beignets!! Fried chicken and sauce and the sides were amazing too. Don’t waste calories on peach deserts! Not worth it .

    The building made the evening. The food for the price was not what it should have been. We asked for an old fashion, and it definitely needs to be worked on. They also did a double pour, which we did not ask for. The sangria was overly sweet. Dinner biscuits were very fresh, and the butter was perfect . Octopus appetizer was quite dry. They do add toppings, but it just masked the dryness. Pork dinner was delicious, and the pear salad was very tasty. The side order of mac and cheese was not very fresh. It was dry and not very favorable. Our server was nice but did not ask how our meal was. The table we were at was up against a wall and a little small to have more than a plate or two. Maybe it was just off that night, but for the price, it should be much better.
