Couple things of note, server was prompt and attentive, not overly, just right. Bartender didn't make the old fashioned correct, and then a noisey party of 8 or 9 joined a quiet special dinner with there obnoxious banter.... Great experience overall

Excellent food and atmosphere! Large portions and the garlic bread is out of this world!! Service is great and everyone is friendly! It had been several between your visits but everything was exactly how we remembered it! Highly recommend!

Absolute HORRIBLE experience at Vinnie Vanucchi's in Galena, IL. My wife and I celebrating our 44th anniversary with friends. My wife ordered Chicken Alfredo, waitress brought her plate without the chicken. My wife immediately said, there was no chicken. The waitress left her plate and said she didn't know why the kitchen didn't put in the chicken. She said she would take care of it. We patiently waited for 18 minutes watching the same waitress serve drinks and dinner to 3 other tables. When we asked a second time about the chicken, the waitress replied, "I'll check; it should be up shortly." By now, my wife's alfredo is cold, and so is my dinner. I went to the front desk and asked for the manager. The manager was very apologetic and said he would fix it. Within 6 minutes, the manager arrived at our table with a brand-new plate of chicken alfredo pasta. (24 minute has passed now) My wife said, thank you but please take this plate back and the new one back and remove them from the bill. I cannot eat this any longer, and I'm so very disappointed with the service here. The waitress returned to our table after all of this, with the bill, and it still had my wife's chicken alfredo on it. She tossed the bill on our table, reinforcing that she did not care about what happened. At this point, I told her she was the worst waitress I had ever encountered, and you had done absolutely nothing to fix the problem at this table. She stood there and wanted to argue, I asked her to just please leave. The manager came back, he removed my wife's chicken alfredo, I paid the bill and we left. Both my wife and I did not eat dinner on our anniversary night, at a restaurant that we were both very excited to go to. We will NEVER return to Vinnie Vanucchi's again. The worst dining experience and service we have ever encountered!

Excellent food and service. Very nice ambiance. My only suggestion would be to please switch to cloth napkins, not paper. It may sound trivial, but cloth napkins would elevate the dining experience for those of us who are celebrating an occasion with a nice dinner out. Especially when two entrees and a bottle of wine with tip is 80.00 per person. Also, bring cash, because there is a surcharge for using a credit card.

This restaurant was recommended to us by 2 of our friends. We were very disappointed. The salad was good. Eggplant parmigiana was squishy and had a slightly bitter taste It was a beautiful evening and we were able to sit outside
