                                                                                            First time eating at Virgil’s. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservation and were promptly seated. Server was excellent and attentive. Restaurant was packed, but food came out quickly and hot. Short rib special was amazing. Will definitely be back when we are back in the city.

Avevamo inizialmente ordinato diverse porzioni di costolette, ma ci hanno suggerito di ridimensionare l’ordine, spiegandoci che sarebbero state troppe: un gesto di correttezza raro, soprattutto in un ristorante frequentato da turisti. Il cibo è di qualità eccezionale, con porzioni generose e prezzi onesti, considerando la posizione centrale a Times Square. Assolutamente consigliato!

                                                                                            The menu has gotten smaller and it is such a hectic setting with tightly packed tables. The food and drink are good but if you want to relax, this is not the spot and people probably don't come for this anyway. We have been here countless times over the years but as we age, I am starting to think this is not for us anymore.

Had no issue to reserve a table for 7 people for the same day. Food was very tasty, particularly the rack of ribs and portions were generous. This is not an upscale restaurant, but good spot for tourists, particularly families with children.
