   The food was great! Noise level was a little loud. Our server Gustavo was great. He checked in often to make sure we had everything even at an extremely busy time.

   Great cocktails and seafood. Server was so friendly and helpful. We ordered Dungeness crab which was fresh and tasty! Great and extensive seafood menu. Would definitely go back.

   Excellent food, great service, a bit noisy, but expected due to location and the restaurant was quite busy. Overall, good experience that I would recommend again.

   Had a wonderful experience as a first time diner here. Loved the vibe and energy. Tried the shrimp scampi and it was amazing. A decent amount of shrimp included. Loved the brussel sprouts. Try the scampi sauce with some of the brussel sprouts. Also….be very careful of the dinner rolls. They are fabulous. But filling. Try them with some olive oil. Great experience. Highly recommend. Ask for the server, Michael. Very knowledgeable with all the dishes.

   The food and service were absolutely fantastic, but an unfortunate detail kept it from being a perfect experience. The seafood was phenomenal—highlights included the halibut cheeks, thick, moist and crisp sea bass, seared ahi tuna, and perfectly roasted Brussels sprouts. The flavors were spot-on, and the presentation was beautiful. Service was equally impressive; our server was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. However, the experience was nearly overshadowed by an unexpected and frustrating issue: lint from the napkins. By the end of the evening, we were both covered in white fuzz that stubbornly refused to come off, even with multiple cleaning attempts. The lint stuck around into the next day, which was disappointing after such an otherwise stellar meal. We’d definitely recommend the restaurant for its food and service, but management should consider switching to lint-free napkins to avoid detracting from what could have been a flawless dining experience.

   We had a very nice experience at the Water Grill. I had the Alaska Black Cod (Sable fish), my wife had the California Spiny Lobster which is in season. Everything was really delicious. I would go back. David was a great waiter

    The Water Grill Gaslamp District of San Diego is a MUST see experience... The decor is fantastic, the staff Top shelf as you can get and the food was in a word Heavenly. Even though I was just visiting for the weekend, Water Grill is my go-to-spot for everything romantic dates, family gatherings and just a simple bar side moment solo.... If you are in the Gaslamp area, you must stop by or your life will not be complete....
