We had the most lovely dinner tonight. I had the Rockfish and my wife the prime rib and we shared a green salad. The food was excellent, the service very good and we will return again. The staff were constantly taking care of folks, but were not intrusive, just very professional. My wife’s prime rib was served perfectly with Yukon mashed potatoes, the Rockfish was cooked and garnished beautifully. We each enjoyed our meals very much. We were treated with a special dessert as I had noted it was our Anniversary when I made the reservation. We will go back again, absolutely loved it.

I would have given five stars on this visit. The food was fantastic, but the cosmos that came from the bar were warm at best we had to re-shake them ourselves. They did leave us the shaker, but it didn’t taste like Tito‘s vodka and we didn’t have much extra ice. We should’ve sent them back.

Had dinner for our anniversary and Christmas. We will not be back. Rolls were just croissant which unfortunately I don’t like. Soup of day was non existent. I was hoping to be lobster bisque or whatever they used to have. That is no longer on the menu. Waitress left my water cup empty for 10-15 min. I had to ask her for it. She walked by multiple times and didn’t say anything. She finally asked if we needed anything and I said water. That’s the first thing you Shey’s look for is if drinks are needing filled. She went to get it and another waiter came by and saw I was empty and asked if I’d like more water and filled it on the spot. I watched him. He was great. We didn’t luck out and get him. The waitress took forever for everything. Finally got a bill. Husband noticed they charged $1 more for the mashed potatoes. We thought they charged $10 more for the steak but it was just the add on of the mashed potatoes. Manager is now aware of the wrong price of potatoes and I’m guessing he will fix it. He was really nice though. So I think the issue is more of getting that one waitress. I drink a lot of water so it was annoying I had to wait for more, especially when that is all I was drinking. Food except the rolls was good. I guess they left on a part of the short rib they were supposed to take off to make it easier to cut through. My husband noticed it. I know nothing about that but thought I’d add that in. But I just cut it off. I ended up not liking it but he did so he ate that and I ate his filet.

I run hotels and restaurants and I have to give it to the Manager of this restaurant on a trying Christmas day that was completely sold out. My Father had passed a few days ago and still trying to give my 90 year old Mother a Christmas with her husband and my sister- her other daughter a good day. Very difficult story but the manager made it happen where we felt cared for and I would hire this Manager for any of my properties! He was truly the right pick and showed his care and love - which is the basis of hospitality. Will always rememberhis kindness. You go. Hope you have a wonderful bout back of hospitality to you. xo

The food was decent but VERY overpriced. Service was nonexistent. Nobody came to refill water or check on us. Had to hunt someone down just to get the check. Cannot say I would ever go back.

We were a party of five and while some of our food was good and prepared nicely there were some concerns. One guest ordered a New York strip and requested it to be prepared medium which it clearly was not. Three of us decided to share the 32 oz bison tomahawk and the server mentioned that this dish comes out already cut up. We requested that it not be cut so that we could divide it ourselves and we wanted to see the steak with the tomahawk bone. When it arrived it was clearly not 32 oz. As mentioned, the guest in our party that ordered the 14 oz New York strip, his steak was clearly larger than our 32 oz tomahawk. The server first insisted that our steak was 32 oz but after we disagreed, she then said she would get the manager to come speak to us at our table. She returned and said the manager was unable to come to our table and instead said the chef agreed that the steak was not 32 oz and offered to prepare another one. We had already waited about 45 minutes for our food so we declined but asked if we kept the current meal would it be reduced in price, which it was by half the cost. Another guest in our party who happens to be a level 2 sommelier ordered a glass of Cabernet and then requested a second glass of the same wine. The second glass was clearly not the same wine. When brought to our servers attention she did correct this by opening the bottle at the table and pouring a new glass. While these two issues were resolved, it left all of us with the feeling that shady business practices must be the norm here. Not sure but didn’t feel right at all.

We were celebrating retirement and ordered the lobster. The food was cold. The water tasted like faucet water. The only food we liked was the bread.
