For over 25 years, Zambri’s has been fortunate enough to serve Victorians Italian soul food paired with all the best wines of Italy. We’ve grown as Victoria has grown, but at our heart, we have remained true to our roots. Many years of working with local farmers, being a contributing member of our local community, caring for the environment (we are carbon neutral), hosting Italian wine dinners and always making sure that our vision for our food stays true, have brought us to the place we are now.

    I have been going to Zambri's on a regular basis for over 20 years since it was a little spot next to London drugs. The food and ambiance was excellent as per usual standards. However the waitress spoiled the evening. Our guests, my wife and I were appalled by here abrupt, rude manner.

    I feel terrible as I forget our amazing servers name…. What a GREAT server, unbelievable food, perfect setting and all around great experience. 3 of us had our annual best friends Christmas dinner and Zambri’s always knocks it out of the park.     This is not an Italian American red sauce joint. Excellent hard to find authentic Italian pastas, and more...Terrific pizzas with a crust to die for, great wine list reasonably priced.

    Zambri's has long held a special place in our hearts, as we started dining there when they first opened in a small strip mall behind a drug store. The place has gone on to achieve well-deserved success and now occupies a wonderful space in an great, downtown location. We were there last week for a special occasion dinner, looking forward to a quiet together over an amazing, authentic Italian meal. Unfortuately, Zambri's success proved its undoing on the night we dined there. It was a rainy winter Wednesday, but nearly every table was full and the noise level was deafening. Our table, which we had reserved several days earlier, was immediately adjacent to the open doors of a banquet room in which ensued a rambunctious evening for approximately 18 revelers, plus a table for eight just next to ours on the other side, and a really noise table for five just behind us. We literally could not carry on a conversation for the first two-thirds of our meal, when finally the place quieted down. Zambri's needs to consider reducing its capacity (a hard call for any restaurant, for sure) and/or installing some sound-absorbing baffles. The noise could have been overlooked has the meal been better, but the culinary standards at Zambri's seemed to have slipped. We ordered a simple meal of antipasta, pasta and salad. The appetizers were delicious, but one of the pasta dishes was woefully undercooked and poorly sauced. The salad was absolutely prosaic, with only a hint of dressing. We could have used the oil and vinegar from the dipping plate for the foccacia, but the server removed it before the salad arrived. Which brings us to the service: we know it's so difficult when a place is packed and there's a banquet going on to boot. Everyone's feeling rushed. But we would have loved it if our server could have been a bit more patient with our orders and a little less abrupt about pushing us on to the subsequent course. It's time for Zambri's to re-calibrate.
