    Dinner was unfortunately terrible. Very undercooked pasta. Cold, dry chicken. Had an odd chemical taste to it.

    The previous time we went to Zarletti's (several months ago) all of our courses were brought out all at the same time! We sent all but the salads back. We had to notify the server to bring out the subsequent courses. We thought, "What untrained help!" This time, however, after taking our order the server asked, "Do you want me to bring our everything all at once or do you want just the salads and appetizers?" What? Is this a way to get patrons out the door quickly? Is this the result of an incognizant restaurant manager? Unbelievable!

    We visit Zarletti Mequon every 6 weeks or so, and the food is always terrific. The shrimp scampi and pasta dishes rock, as does the chopped salad. Our only challenge revolves around timing. Often times (last three visits), our drinks don't come out slow... after the salad has been served. Likewise, glasses of wine (even when ordered right when initial drinks are served) don't arrive until well after the entree is served. To me management might be well advised to adopt a policy of "it's on time, or it's on us."

    The menu was different so we tried new items. I had the ossobucco but the meat was tough. We also tried the duck ravioli which didn’t taste like duck and had way too much cheese sauce on it. Duck and cheese doesn’t go together well. Another person in our group had the ribeye which was okay. The shrimp scampi was good. The burrata was delicious as always. Ryan was our waiter and he was fantastic.
